Michael's Classes
Classes offered at Michaels Arts & Crafts in Antioch and Pleasant Hill, CA: Individual classes vary in price due to the project and length of class. See the calendar for further details. It is important to sign up early to secure your spot. Three people must be enrolled 24 hours prior to the class for it to occur. We usually call the day before class, so if three students are not signed up, the class may be cancelled. If the class is cancelled, you will either receive your money back or you can transfer to another class. There are two types of classes offered at Michaels: 1. Two hour basic class - $20: In the two hour basic classes you will either be introduced to the basic strokes or focus on one or two specific strokes. Three hour project class - $25: In the three hour project classes you will first practice stroke work and then go on to complete a project. You choose the project and your friends will purchase the class kit. The kit will include: Paint, brushes, the surface to paint on, and a re-useable teaching guide! Adults - $30 per hour, minimum two hours($40 per hour for two adults) Enjoy painting at your own pace with one-on-one instruction; in your own home or in Sandra's home studio. If you are a beginner, you will learn the basic strokes needed to get you started. If you are already familiar with One-Stroke and need help with specific strokes, you can choose your own topic. Either way, we will work at your own pace until you understand the strokes. You will be amazed at how much can be accomplished one-on-one with no interruptions.
